Cosy Retreats 2 boasts a stylish open plan living space with a stunning view of the town from the large picture windows. There’s a Super King size bed in the master bedroom & the flexibility to split bedroom 2 into a twin if required. The rooms are furnished with the perfect blend of modern & traditional, think cosy rugs, soft sheepskins, warm Welsh blankets & plump cushions.

The Space
Newly renovated to a high standard Cosy Retreats 2 is spacious apartment in the centre of Hay on Wye. The fully equipped kitchen has high quality appliances & an espresso coffee machine. Tea, locally ground coffee and sugar is provided plus eco friendly dishwasher tablets, washing powder and washing up liquid.
The lounge has a brand new smart TV and there’s a bluetooth speaker to connect to and enjoy your favourite tunes. The bedrooms are generously sized with plenty of room to unpack and settle in for a relaxing break.
And if you don’t fancy cooking head downstairs to our Cosy Cafe for breakfast, coffee & cake or a tasty lunch. Cosy Retreats guests can enjoy a 10% discount!

In the heart of Hay on Wye
Our apartments are the perfect base for enjoying all Hay has to offer – whether you’re here for the internationally renowned festival, or just want to soak up the atmosphere.
As well as Hay’s famous bookshops, you’ll find an array of vintage, fashion, home and map shops plus an abundance of cafes, restaurants, pubs and even a music venue.
Hay has a thiriving local market which is well worth a browse. Market days are usually Thursdays and occasional Saturdays (there may be some early morning noise during set up on market days).
Get out and about
Hay is a fantastic base for outdoor adventures – hugging the River Wye, and with a foot in both England & Wales there’s a massive choice of things to do.
Enjoy walking in the Brecon Beacons, biking through the Forest of Dean, or kayaking down the Wye.
If that all sounds too active, there are a range of interesting places to visit and explore reflecting the stunning natural landscape and the areas’ heritage.
