This May well celebrate the anniversary of the start our adventure here at The Cosy Cafe. It’s 3 years since we turned on the coffee machine, flipped our first crepe and conjured up cosy cocktails. Time flies when you’re having fun and this bank holiday weekend we’ll be celebrating in style.
On Friday we’ve got live music from Jakey-Boy Hughes plus the legendary Origin will be popping up on our patio serving tasty pizzas.

From 8pm Cafe friends DJ Max Galactic and DJ HanSolo take to the decks to entertain us with their delectable disco and club classics! So pop on your dancing shoes and glittery get-up and join us as we open the bar for cool cocktails, spring spritzers, Lucky7 and Ludlow Gin.
Tickets are £5 each in advance or £7 on the door.

After the huge success of last years Soiree we’re excited to announce that Monsieur Bon Bon has accepted our invitation to return to Hay. Join us for a cheeky evening of bottomless cocktails and Prosecco, party snacks, crazy quizzes and games, and fabulous festive fun.
Arrive from 7pm – Bar open
8pm- Enjoy an hour of bottomless cocktails and Prosecco and test your wits against the other teams with our festive challenges
9.00pm – Party snacks & nibbles are served
9.30PM- Brace yourselves for the final round of crazy quizzes from our star Bon Bon. There’s prizes for the winning team so group together and get those thinking caps on
10.30pm – DJ Max Galactic hits the decks with Christmas party bangers to shake your booty to. The bar will stay open until 12am so sup up, strut your stuff and enjoy the festive cheer!

During the Festival this year we’ll be open right through until around 9pm every evening.
We’ll be serving food until at least 6pm and keeping the doors open beyond for spring cocktails, local beers, cider and gin.
So if you’re dashing to an event and need a quick bite or you’re wandering round town after a festival foray, we’ll be here so do pop in.
We’re excited to announce our first supper club. Informal dining in our lovely cosy space.
Bring foodie friends or join our long table and make some new pals. We’ll be putting on a Persian feast of sharing dips, platters and stews focusing on Middle Eastern fragrant herbs and spices to warm your soul.

The last pop up cocktail evening was a huge success so we’re opening our doors once again for our signature Martinis, spring Mojitos and a nod to the King with Ludlow Limited Edition Coronation Rose Gin. Any excuse for a fancy G&T!

And he’s back…..Friend and legendary DJ Max Galactic hits the cafe once more with disco bangers and funky vibes to celebrate all things winter weekend.
Join us from 6pm, after the lights are switched on, for our signature espresso martinis and spiced warming wine. Max’ll be playing some soulful tunes before ramping it up to classic disco beats and floor fillers as the night goes on.
